Artivism
We need art and education that builds space for Karelian perspectives and voices. My art reclaims, restores, and revives Karelian linguistic and cultural heritage, navigates intergenerational trauma and transforms it into resistance through joy. I revive traditions and patiently explore how they translate to contemporary interpretations.
